1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that websites store on the user's device to remember information about their visit. They are a standard technology used on practically every website.

2. Cookies and local storage used by Revisit

Revisit does not use advertising cookies or third-party behavioural analytics (there is no Google Analytics, Meta Pixel or profiling for marketing purposes). Local storage is limited to what is strictly necessary for the service to work, and we use an error monitoring tool to keep the platform stable and secure, as detailed below:

2.1. Local storage (localStorage) - technical cookies

2.2. Third-party services

Revisit does not include advertising or behavioural analytics tools (there is no Google Analytics, Meta/Facebook Pixel or similar). The only third-party service that processes technical data is Sentry, an error monitoring tool that records technical incidents (error message, browser type, page where the failure occurred) so that malfunctions can be detected and fixed. Sentry acts as a data processor, does not intentionally collect personal identifiers (the option to send personal data is disabled) and may involve an international data transfer (United States). The legal basis is Revisit's legitimate interest in maintaining the security and stability of the service (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR); it is never used for advertising or profiling purposes.

If a tool using non-essential cookies is introduced in the future (for example, audience analytics or marketing), this policy will be updated, users will be informed and a prior consent mechanism will be implemented before it is activated.

3. Legal basis

The local storage described in section 2.1 is strictly necessary to provide the service requested by the user. Under Article 22(2) of Spanish Act 34/2002 (LSSI-CE) and the guidelines of the European Data Protection Board, strictly necessary cookies are exempt from the prior consent requirement.

4. How to manage cookies

You can configure your browser to block or delete cookies and local storage data. Help links for the main browsers are listed below:

Please note that if you block local storage you will not be able to sign in to the platform, since the authentication token is essential for it to work.

5. Updates to this policy

This policy will be updated if new tracking technologies are introduced or the use of cookies changes. The date of the last update appears at the top of this page.
